This cozy hostel offers a home-like atmosphere with spacious rooms equipped with a TV, fridge, and AC. The helpful staff goes the extra mile, packing early breakfasts and arranging reliable tuk-tuk drivers. Situated in a great location, it's just a short walk to popular attractions like Pub Street and the Night Market.
Some guests reported noise from the street at night.

We had a fantastic stay at Lodestar Hostel. The room was spacious, clean, and had great air conditioning. The bed was comfortable and we had a beautiful view from our window. The pool was a perfect place to relax and cool off. The location was ideal, just a short stroll from all the action. The staff, especially Thlann, were friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast was delicious and the homemade jam was a real treat. I highly recommend Lodestar Hostel for a budget-friendly and enjoyable stay.

Traditional Cambodian-style accommodation with modern facilities. Free WiFi available, but good luck finding a spot. Enjoy the scenic poolside bar with a drink that costs more than your room. Complimentary English breakfast that may or may not be edible.
The WiFi is about as reliable as a toddler with a crayon.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to Pub Street and the city center, but still quiet enough for a good night's sleep. the rooms were clean and the beds were big and comfortable. We really appreciated the shoe-free policy at the entrance. the staff were amazing, funny, and helpful, especially in helping us book a tour to Angkor Wat exactly as we wanted. Plus, the breakfast was delicious and the pool was a nice bonus. All of this at such an affordable price of $12 for 4 nights!
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes. 😉.

Free toiletries are provided, making for a convenient stay. Breakfast is available, although it can sometimes be served later than advertised. Guests can enjoy a home away from home experience at this cozy hostel.
The bathroom is on the smaller side, which may be inconvenient for some guests.

The room at Lodestar Hostel Siem Reap was so cozy and inviting, I felt like I was wrapped in a warm blanket. It had a calming ambiance that made me feel instantly relaxed.
The only thing I didn't quite enjoy was the bathroom. It was clean and well-stocked, but the shower head was a little low for my liking.

Great location, just a short walk to Pub Street and the market. Also conveniently close to Angkor Wat. Many shops, restaurants, and a cinema nearby. Comfortable bed with big soft pillows and clean sheets. Decent WiFi and spacious room.
Unpleasant check-in experience with no room key and no pillowcases. WiFi didn't reach the room.
